Which NFL teams should consider Marshawn Lynch if the Seahawks are done with him?

The Seattle Seahawks seem like they are done with running back Marshawn Lynch. His years of racking up touches and yards while plowing through anyone and anything in front of him has finally began to catch up to  him. The Seahawks did not use Lynch much on Sunday during their loss to the Panthers.

One could say that the Seahawks started to move on from Lynch in February during the Super Bowl. The Seahawks chose to pass the ball rather than give him a chance to run the ball in from the goal line. The emergence of Thomas Rawls and Lynch’s $9,000,000 salary makes his departure all but a sure thing.

Lynch has had a heck of a run in Seattle. Should he be released as expected, he will leave the Seahawks as their fourth-leading rusher of all-time with 6,347 rushing yards. His 4.4 yards per carry mark is better than the three players above him. His 57 rushing touchdowns with Seattle trains only Shaun Alexander’s 100.

Marshawn Lynch will be out to prove the critics wrong if he is released from Seattle. He likely still has something left in the tank. Here are five teams that should be calling him if and when he is released.
