These are the five trade destinations that would make sense for Cleveland Cavaliers forward Kevin Love.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to find their groove and show that, when the time comes, they can compete with the top teams in the Western Conference and win an NBA championship. In order to do so, that could mean moving Kevin Love in yet another surprising shakeup by the franchise.

To the surprise of everyone, the Cavaliers fired David Blatt after being in first place and replacing him with Tyronn Lue. While the move came as a shock, it was clear that the Cavaliers felt they needed to make a change in order to jumpstart the team.

Ever since Blatt arrived in Cleveland, it seemed like a rocky relationship between him and the team. The same can be said for Love. Although Love signed a big extension in the offseason and is a big part of what the Cavaliers do, it hasn’t stopped the rumors of the team potentially moving him in the right deal.

Love hasn’t been able to embrace his role quite like Chris Bosh did in the Miami Heat‘s big three, and as a result the offense hasn’t always flowed with rhythm up front. Despite all of this, the Cavaliers are still far and away the best team in the Eastern Conference and there’s time to find chemistry.

However, when Blatt was fired by the Cavaliers, some players thought the team meeting was because Love had been traded. That provides insight into the situation in Cleveland and it could mean that Love isn’t viewed too highly by the rest of the team.

There’s a reason that the trade rumors continue to persist and where there’s smoke there’s fire. Should the Cavaliers look to move Love and make a move to strengthen the team, here are the five potential trade destinations for Love.
