National Signing Day 2016 had many good players pick the school of their choice to play college football. Here are five signees that could start right away.

It’s one thing to have the best players in the country at their respective positions commit to a certain school in building an impressive recruiting class, but it is a completely different animal to have a guy that can come in right away and make an immediate impact.

Sometimes a player is so immensely gifted coming out of high school that his natural abilities essentially force his coach’s hand to have to play him a ton early as a true freshman. It can be at any position and happen at any school.

Other times a school has no choice but to ask some members of its freshman class to start right away, as either the team has lost its star player at that position a year before or has done a lousy job of recruiting at that position in years past.

While there are certainly dozens of players in the 2016 high school graduating class that can get playing time from day one, here are five guys that headlined their respective recruiting classes in 2016 that could end up starting right away in the Power 5.
