Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine dunked from the free throw line during the Slam Dunk contest

The Slam Dunk contest is always one of the most exciting parts of the NBA All-Star weekend. This season, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine has been doing quite well for his team. He got rewarded with a chance to show off his skills at the Slam Dunk contest. LaVine did not disappoint at all as he channelled his inner Michael Jordan to dunk from the free throw line.

Remember when Jordan did that? Yup, LaVine just gave one heck of a tribute to #23 with that jam. Zach LaVine has 12.8 points per game this season in his sophomore season. He also has 2.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game this season as he is a bright part of the Timberwolves future. LaVine made the Timberwolves proud this weekend along with his teammates center Karl Anthony Towns and forward Andrew Wiggins.

The UCLA forward was drafted in the first round in the 2014 draft. Minnesota drafted him with the 13th overall pick of the draft. They clearly made a wise decision as few can do the things that LaVine can do. With LaVine, Towns, and Wiggins, Minnesota’s future looks bright.
