Boston Celtics

There seems to be a trend with teams interested in DeRozan, and the Celtics stay along the same track.

This season, the young Celtics sit third in what is a wide-open Eastern Conference after the Cavaliers and Raptors at one and two. A team that is already top-10 in defense, DeRozan would add a much needed offensive consistently that could vault the team to elite status in the East.

Despite defense being a knock against DeRozan early in he career, working under Raptors head coach, Dwane Casey, has greatly improved his abilities on the defensive side of the ball. This means that DeRozan could add offense without taking away from the defensive nature of the Celtics’ play.

Again, DeRozan’s age makes him an even more attractive potential addition to the Celtics. He could be a core member of the team alongside Kelly Olynyk just as they both enter the prime of their careers, making the Celtics a force in the league for years to come.
