Ranking all eight Sweet 16 games in 2016 March Madness by watchability

The first weekend of March Madness is now in the books and college basketball fans have been treated to some terrific action to this point. There were some tremendous upsets in the First Round, a few more in the Second Round, and then there were plenty of moments that no one will be forgetting anytime soon with thrilling finishes and great games.

Of course, many of the moments that fans are buzzing about revolve around the last-second finishes provided by the likes of Northern Iowa Panthers guard Paul Jesperson, Wisconsin Badgers guard Bronson Koenig, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish guard Rex Pflueger. With how those games ended and the fact that they were close enough to go down to the wire, they are obviously considered some of the best games of the first weekend.

But now it’s time to look forward to the Sweet 16 now that the matchups have all been set. Though it’s going to be tough to match the insanity that March Madness brought around moving forward, the Sweet 16 is traditionally one of the most exciting two days in the entire NCAA Tournament as it’s top-level teams squaring off with bigger stakes. The star players come out bigger, the spotlight gets brighter, and things just get better if you’re a fan watching at home.

If you’re a fan watching at home, though, you may be curious as to which games you should watch. With four games on each day, there’s certainly a question as to how one game stacks up against the others. That’s where we’ve got you covered as part of FanSided’s March Madness coverage.

Looking at the Sweet 16, this is how the eight games rank in relation to one another in terms of watchability.
