It’s a full Wednesday of Major League Baseball action today with all 30 teams ready to take the field.  There is only one matinee at 3:45 in San Francisco while all the rest of the games are under the lights tonight. If you’re coming to the middle of the week and need a fantasy baseball waiver wire boost for your starting rotation, check out my top 5 fantasy baseball streaming pitchers on the following slides.

More from Boston Red Sox

Each of the pitchers in this daily post is available in over 50% of ESPN leagues on the day they make the list and are scheduled to take the hill in a matchup in which I think they can find success.  I’ve included their ownership level in ESPN leagues in parentheses after their name at the top of each slide. Each morning, you can find these “best available” starting pitchers on our FanSided fantasy baseball hub. These fantasy baseball streaming pitchers make good pickup options for standard leagues, but they can also be used as value options if you’re building a lineup for daily league fantasy baseball.

Yesterday, my top 5 fantasy baseball streaming pitchers stepped up and went a combined 3-0 allowing 12 runs in 33.1 innings for a solid 3.27 ERA.  As a group they struck out 30 batters with an awesome outing by my top pick Rich Hill (pictured above) leading the way with seven shutout innings with eight punch outs and a win. I started this feature for this season nine days ago and my 45 pitchers have gone a combined 19-16 with a 4.30 ERA and a 1.364 WHIP.  I’ve picked up 7.86 K/9.

If you want to discuss your fantasy baseball streaming pitchers, other waiver wire pickups, offer alternative options, or let me know how our fantasy baseball coverage can be more of a help to you, find me throughout the day @FansidedFantasy on Twitter. In the coming weeks as the NBA playoffs start to slow down, we’ll be able to expand our daily league fantasy baseball coverage, so stay tuned.

Let’s jump right into my top 5 Fantasy baseball streaming pitchers for a full Wednesday of hardball action.
