Buffalo Bills are doomed forever

Everybody has been talking about the Buffalo Bills finally being good enough to make the playoffs. Currently, they have the longest active postseason drought in the National Football League, not having reached since 1999.

Of course, this is Buffalo, so something was bound to go wrong. The Bills got some bad news on Monday with the story breaking that first-round draft pick Shaq Lawson injured his shoulder while giving a swim move to a tackling dummy. Seriously. He’s out 5-6 months.

Meanwhile, the Bills may be without receiver Sammy Watkins for all of training camp after he broke his foot and needed a screw inserted. Some will say that it’s only preseason, but this is a speedster with an injury history who now has a screw in his foot.

Here at Meltdown Tuesday, we call that NOT GOOD.

Beyond the torture that is Buffalo (a rancid, rancid place), we have the NBA Draft Lottery on Tuesday. It’s always fun to watch some devastated fan base get completely screwed by ping-pong balls. I hope the Brooklyn Nets get the first-overall pick, then have to give it to the Boston Celtics.

Finally, we heap the praise on Roughned Odor for punching Jose Bautista in the face. Stop worrying about the children for a second, and realize this is the most fun May baseball has been since forever.
