Eagles at Bears: Week 2 inactives
The Chicago Bears and Philadelphia Eagles will meet in a Monday Night Football matchup to close out Week 2. Here is a list of the players listed as inactive.
Rookie quarterback Carson Wentz and the 1-0 Philadelphia Eagles will head into Soldier Field to take on the 0-1 Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football. This should be a fun matchup between two talented, yet under-proven NFC teams. Can Wentz lead the Eagles to a 2-0 start or will the Bears get their season back on track?
After being listed as questionable throughout the week, Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller has officially been ruled out for this game. As the number one cornerback on the Bears’ roster, not having Fuller is a big deal. Wentz may be able to exploit a weak Bears’ secondary tonight, with Jordan Matthews likely to be his number one target.
The biggest injury on the Eagles’ side of the ball is also at the cornerback position. Leodis McKelvin will miss this game with a hamstring injury suffered last week against the Cleveland Browns.
Without McKelvin in the lineup, the Eagles will be counting on the likes of Nolan Carroll, Ron Brooks and rookie Jalen Mills on the outside. Jay Cutler could have a field day against a depleted Eagles’ secondary. Alshon Jeffery in particular could be an issue for the Eagles. They simply do not have anyone who can matchup well with him on the outside.

Eagles tight end Zach Ertz will also miss this game, after suffering a rib displacement in Week 1. Wentz will undoubtedly miss Ertz in the lineup, but the duo of veteran Brent Celek and the talented Trey Burton should be able to pick up the slack.
Without further ado, here are the complete inactives for this Monday Night Football matchup:
These two teams are trying to become surprise contenders in the NFC this season. A prime time win here in Week 2 would be huge for either team going forward. This should be a fun one to watch.
