Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan wasn’t gracious in victory, as he claims to have a mole inside the New England Patriots, who Bills beat on Sunday, 16-0.

The Buffalo Bills are 2-2 on the year after upsetting the then undefeated New England Patriots on Sunday, 16-0. Buffalo needed to beat New England in Foxborough to have a snowball’s chance at beating out New England in the AFC East. This win was huge for Bills head coach Rex Ryan’s case to stick in Buffalo.

Ryan loves nothing more than to beat Bill Belichick’s Patriots team and surprisingly this is only his fifth career win over New England as an NFL head coach.

Ryan also loves to stir things up during his press conferences, so of course he said that he has a mole in the New England organization.

Ryan claims that his “sources inside the New England Patriot building said that Jacoby Brissett would be the QB.” New England wasn’t going to release who their Week 4 starting quarterback was until the 11th hour. By being able to shut out Brissett and the Patriots, did the Bills have inside information on New England?

Probably not, as Ryan is an adept defensive mind. He had to suspect that Brissett would be the Week 4 starter for the Patriots. Brissett had thumb surgery this past week, but Jimmy Garoppolo has struggled to raise his injured arm above his shoulder. There was no way Belichick was going to start slot receiver Julian Edelman at quarterback, even though Ryan asked Edelman himself if he would. Ryan played process of elimination marvelously and crushed his biggest rival on Sunday.

Ryan is still probably coaching for his job with the Bills, even with them sitting at 2-2 and only one game back of the Patriots, who now sit at 3-1. Having that early head-to-head tiebreaker is good news for the Bills’ potential AFC Playoff hopes.
