There are 11 NBA games on the schedule for Wednesday night. One of those games will be between two sub-.500 teams in the Minnesota Timberwolves (1-5) and the Orlando Magic (3-4). Tipoff from the Amway Center will be at 7:00 p.m. ET in Orlando.
FOX Sports North will have the telecast in the Twin Cities. FOX Sports Florida will have the game in Central Florida. Since this game will not be nationally televised, the available live stream can be found on NBA League Pass, which requires a subscription.
The Timberwolves have struggled out of the gate with their weak 1-5 record. Minnesota’s lone win the season came against the Memphis Grizzlies back on November 1st. Perhaps we underestimated the youth and inexperience of this team that new head coach Tom Thibodeau inherited. He’ll eventually get the defense right, but Minnesota remains very much a work in progress.
The Magic have won three of their last four games after beginning the season in an 0-3 hole. Though the Magic dropped their most recent game to the Chicago Bulls badly on Monday Night, there is reason to believe that new head coach Frank Vogel can help get this young team back to the NBA Playoffs.

Orlando should be favored at home over a struggling Timberwolves team. With the Timberwolves playing the second of a back-to-back on the road this evening, it may not go over very well for Thibodeau’s young team. Expect it to be low-scoring, but the Magic prevail.
