After the game was announced earlier this week, Bungie has officially released the first trailer revealing Destiny 2.

Without a doubt, one of the most anticipated games ever was Destiny. You can’t blame the fans since Bungie is the developer. They created the Halo series, which is arguably the greatest first-person shooter series of all-time. Unfortunately, Destiny didn’t live up to the hype. We’re hoping that changes with Destiny 2. The reveal trailer dropped today and it does look pretty cool.

The problems with Destiny have nothing to do with gameplay mechanics or performance. Visually, the game is stunning and it does run very smooth. You can find some fun in it if you try hard enough. However, when the game first launched, it was a huge disappointment.

That feeling starts with the lack of content. It took us a month or less to finish everything the game had to offer. After that, we were forced to replay the same missions over and over again just to level up and pray that we receive the gear we want. It was very frustrating. Then, they forced us to pay for extra content, which should’ve already been included in the game. An overall frustrating experience.

We’re truly hoping Bungie has learned their lesson. It’s far too early to tell, but the first trailer is great. Check it out below:

The biggest surprise is that Destiny 2 will officially be coming to PC. This is amazing news, especially for a game like this. PC gamers will definitely be pleased.

Unfortunately, no gameplay footage, but the gameplay for Destiny 2 will be revealed on May 18. It’s a bit strange that they aren’t saving it for E3 2017. We aren’t complaining, though.

For a game like this, all we want is content and variety. We want a number of weapons to choose from and different missions to play rather than recycling the same ones over and over. A game of this caliber needs this in order to succeed.

Another major issue with the first game was the lack of a story. Bungie has already promised an engaging story with beautiful cinematic cut-scenes. We hope the studio delivers on that.

It seems like Bungie has learned from its mistakes and are on the right track to create a better game. Thankfully, we’ll be able to play a beta before the game actually releases. This should give us a good idea of what to expect before we make our final decision.

Destiny 2 releases on Sep. 8, 2017. You can pre-order to get beta access.
