On the May 23 edition of WWE SmackDown! Live, commissioner Shane McMahon made the announcement of the six superstars that will compete on June 18 in the namesake ladder match at “Money In The Bank.” But the question is simple: who will walk away victorious?

The winner of the annual “Money In The Bank” ladder match gets a very prestigious opportunity. Whoever can climb to the top of the ladder and retrieve the briefcase gets a guaranteed shot at the WWE Championship. The best part is that they have up to 12 months to cash in that briefcase and go after the champion.

Over the years, several WWE superstars have made good on that opportunity to cash in and win the WWE Championship. Guys like WWE Hall of Famer Edge, Rob Van Dam, CM Punk and even SmackDown! Live General Manager Daniel Bryan have gone on to win the match and go after their title shot. And the majority of those guys have succeeded in cashing in and walking away as champion.

Now a new era has arrived, and with it a chance for one superstar to add his name to that list. This year, six of Team Blue’s finest will put their skills to the test. The winner will receive ultimate bragging rights and officially put Jinder Mahal and his WWE Championship on notice.

Kevin Owens will join AJ Styles, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura and previous Money In The Bank winner Dolph Ziggler in one of the most dangerous concepts in recent WWE memory — a guaranteed shot at glory hanging high above their heads. That being said, let’s a take a look at why each of those superstars has a chance to become “Mr. Money In The Bank.”
