Sami Zayn

We’ll start our preview with Sami Zayn, who moved to SmackDown! Live in the recent Superstar Shakeup. Zayn has been looking to make an impact, and the last couple of weeks has been fruitful in those attempts. At Backlash, he knocked off Baron Corbin before pulling off another win over Corbin just two nights later.

If the word upset could be used to describe one of these six men pulling off the victory, it would have to be if Zayn wins the match. While he’s not afraid of taking a beating, which he has been used to taking in the past, his speed will be very useful to make up for what he may lack in strength.

He has already had a taste of gold, albeit while he was still in NXT. During his time there, he captured the NXT Championship not long before he was called up to the main roster. So he knows the championship drill and knows what it takes to get the job done.

If there’s anything that could be his biggest downfall in this match, it could be his history with Kevin Owens. The former friends-turned-rivals have battered each other to pieces since Zayn won the NXT Championship. If he allows that rivalry to get in the way, it could be a long night for him.

Zayn also has to be aware of his surroundings at all times. Aside from the other five competitors, there will likely be a multitude of ladders in play. He’ll need his speed to stay ahead of the game and every bit of his ring awareness to stay away from disaster. That will be key if he wants to walk away with the Money In The Bank Briefcase.
