Fantasy Football Preview 2013: Top Sleeper Running Backs
6. Bryce Brown – Philadelphia Eagles
Even though LaMichael James was quite a bit more explosive than Kenjon Barner in 2011, the carry split between the two primary runners in Chip Kelly’s warp speed offense was 62-38. Brown is being drafted as a high end handcuff in the same range as Ben Tate and Bernard Pierce, but he’s a bigger talent who simultaneously holds more standalone value.
While the Ravens and Texans use their elite running offenses to deflate the total number of plays, Philadelphia plans to take the opposite approach. Your projections should feature far more attempts for Brown than the other trendy backups.
