3. Terrelle Pryor-QB-Oakland Raiders (7.1%)

Pryor was a revelation in week 1 as he almost pulled the upset of the week taking the Raiders to Indianapolis and challenging Andrew Luck who ultimately pulled it out at the end of the 4th quarter. Pryor led the league in rushing with 112 yards rushing on 13 attempts while throwing for 155 yards and a pair of scores and looking like the 2013 version of Cam Newton.

Pryor’s success was in part due to the Colts defensive struggles to be sure, but he also looked like a dynamic playmaker whose rushing abilities will make him a solid backup fantasy QB. In dual QB leagues, he’s a solid option and should be picked up and started except in tough matchups.

Week 2 is definitely not one of those tough matchups as the Raiders host the hapless Jaguars who the Chiefs clubbed 28-2 in the opener. Pryor is the best offensive option on a bad team which means he’ll get plenty of opportunities and should be able to cash them in this week against the Jags. His longterm value is limited by the talent around him, but he’s worth a claim if you need help with your bye week and he’s in a good matchup that week or you’re looking for a one week fill-in for week 2.
