3. Jason Avant-WR-Philadelphia Eagles (2.7%)

Don’t forget about Avant’s performance just because it happened back on Thursday Night Football. Avant looked solid while scoring his first touchdown and catching five passes for 87 yards. He was targeted a team-high eight times and led the team in catches and receiving yards as well.

Normally, he’s still the second option behind DeSean Jackson in the Eagles up-tempo attack, but Phily looks to be destined for plenty of high-scoring games. Michael Vick is a QB who makes plays and can generate offense although his turnovers can be crippling. Avant can definitely be a solid WR4 and a nice value who can slide into a flex spot if needed. Avant has a high ceiling with the ever-evolving Eagles offense, and I don’t see him with amy horrible weeks since the Eagles don’t have tons of WR options and Riley Cooper is struggling.

Next week the Eagles head to the Mile High City to face Peyton Manning and the Broncos. There should be plenty of fantasy points to go around in Denver, so Avant can contribute this week and is a nice depth addition as well.
