Marcel Reece-RB-Oakland Raiders

The Raiders coaching staff promised to get the ball into the hands of Marcel Reese headed into last week’s game against Denver, and they followed through with Reece finishing with four catches 45 yards and a touchdown. It was his second week in a row finding the end zone after rushing for a TD against the Jags week 2.

Reece is behind Darren McFadden on the depth chart so his usage is always tricky to predict, so there is definitely risk in playing Reece. He’s an option to consider as a flex play this week, though, as the Raiders host the struggling Redskins defense. Washington’s D has allowed the third-most points to opposing running backs in the league.

In a favorable matchup, Reece is worth considering especially in deep, PPR leagues where you get a receiving specialist who basically serves as a WR at times. It looks like Terrelle Pryor will start for the Raiders meaning the offense will continue to function similar to the way it has early this season while showing improvement.
