By crossing the state border up to North Carolina, Clowney would immediately add to an already improving defense. When you have a guy like Clowney on the defensive line and Luke Keuchly roaming free to attack the ball carriers, it is something that any general manager could get excited about.

The Panthers may not be in position to draft Clowney, but they should strongly consider making the move up.

Carolina has desperately lacked a stud defensive end since watching Julius Peppers leave for the Bears, so they could finally make up for that loss in a big way by bringing in Clowney to do his thing.
