6. Zac Stacy-RB-St. Louis Rams (10.2%)

Stacy has stepped in as the workhorse back in the Rams offense and has done well even in less-than-great matchups. This week he found the end zone as part of his 34 yards receiving on four catches and added 53 yards on 17 carries against the Panthers who have a solid rushing defense this year.

Stacy has taken over after a number of unsuccesfull attempts for the Rams to find a feature-back. The Rams had 21 rushes last week and Stacy had 17, so he’s clearly the lead back which is unusual to find on the waiver wire.

Unfortunately for Stacy and his owners, things don’t get easier this week as the Rams take on the Seahawks. They are at home in the dome, but start Stacy at your flex only if you have no other options. He’s still worth a pickup, though, and will be a very good play in the future as he gets to a softer part of his schedule.
