4. Andre Holmes-Oakland Raiders

With a breakout game against his former club on Thanksgiving Day, Holmes suddenly became a name worth knowing in a offense that is starting to show signs of improvement under Matt McGloin. McGloin relied heavily on Holmes Thursday throwing the ball his way 11 times as he caught seven passes for  136 yards.

He didn’t have much of a track record before the game, but should get some opporutnities going foward. This week, the Raiders take on the hapless Jets in a good matchup for him. He also has good matchups week 16 and 17 against the Chargers and Broncos.

He’s a long shot and a no-name, but he wouldn’t be the first receiver who heats up at just the right time to make a difference in the fantasy playoffs.
