Detroit Lions @ Minnesota Vikings

The Lions offense has been dreadful the last few weeks as they went from a team that looked playoff-bound after thrashing the Packers on Thanksgiving to a team that doesn’t even have a shot going into week 17 after losing last week to the struggling New York Giants.

The Vikings have allowed the fifth most points and the fourth-most yards in the league over the last three weeks. They’ve given up more passing yards over that span than any team in the league allowing 324 yards per game to Andy Dalton, Nick Foles, and Joe Flacco.

Even though he’s struggled lately, I think Matthew Stafford will pull out a big game to end the season and pad his numbers. He hasn’t proven himself in games that mean a lot, but in meaningless games in the division and indoors, he typically puts up a big game. Megatron should also be able to finish the year strong with a nice game, and whoever gets the carries in the Detroit backfield should find success as well and get plenty of carries in clock-killing time. I think Joique Bell will get plenty of work due to Reggie Bush’s fumble troubles, so start Bell if your looking for a weekly league bargain (in some salary structures).
