Denver Broncos @ Oakland Raiders

The Broncos have something to play for this week as they look to secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs as they travel to Oakland for a divisional game against the Raiders. There are also still some records for Peyton Manning to attack with just 265 yards to go for most yards in a season. He’ll also be setting the mark for most TD passes in a season, a record he broke last week against the Texans.

The Broncos may try and get their top-flite offense some rest if the game gets out of hand, but before exiting I think Manning will be able to pile up some very nice stats in a hurry against Oakland. No team in the NFL has given up more points in the last three weeks than Oakland averaging just under 40 points against per week. They’ve allowed over 30 in three of their last four, and I don’t think they’ll slow down Peyton’s onslaught this week.

The only hesitancy with playing Manning and company is that they may not play the full game, but I think their stats will pile up fast enough to make them good plays so go ahead and use Peyton Manning, Eric Decker, DeMaryius Thomas, and Julius Thomas as you normally would. Knowshon Moreno may get a little extra rest, so I actually like Montee Ball to have a nice week even if many of his yards come in garbage time.
