The Kansas City Chiefs sure aren’t following any momentum going into their Wild Card matchup against the Indianapolis Colts. They lost their last two games, including a 23-7 loss at home to the Colts. In their final game head coach Andy Reid decided to 20 out of 22 of his starters against San Diego. The result, an overtime thriller the Chiefs had multiple chances to win if not for officiating errors. Not exactly the ideal send off for the playoffs but the top performers will be well rested for the game. Will the Chiefs be poised to defeat the Colts or will they provide more debate for the rest vs. rust topic? I think they’ll find that momentum carries a lot more force than rest does.
