The San Diego Chargers are running on some controversial momentum into their wild card game. Coming off of a wild overtime victory in which the NFL has already admitted shouldn’t have happened the Chargers got the benefit of those poor calls plus the losses of the rest of the AFC Wild Card contenders fighting for that last playoff spot. Once the Chiefs released their inactives for the game, there were few doubters that the Chargers wouldn’t roll over them and handedly grab that final playoff spot. Not necessarily how it went but the one thing the Chargers do have going for them is that it hasn’t been smart to bet on the Bengals in the playoffs in 24 years.
