Perhaps this is a tad premature of a conversation, considering Wilson’s short tenure in the league. But it’s worth mentioning that Peyton Manning threw 28 interceptions in his rookie campaign, and Wilson threw 10.

We shouldn’t look past that Wilson had to win the opportunity to start for his team over two quarterbacks who had played 69 games before he had played his first. And it’s definitely worth noting that Wilson is the first quarterback in history to post a passer rating of 100.0 or higher in each of his first two seasons.

Only two other quarterbacks have won the Super Bowl in their first two seasons (Tom Brady, Ben Roethlisberger) and Wilson could make that three. We can pick up this discussion on Monday.
