Apparently Dwight Howard never got the memo that you don’t want to poke a sleeping giant.

That giant, in this case, is Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant.

A few days back, the Houston Rockets center suggested in an interview that he doesn’t ‘need’ to ask for the ball any longer. Many believed that to be a subtle shot at Bryant and now Howard is at it again, this time posting a photo of himself dunking on Bryant.

In fairness to Dwight, he wasn’t completely arrogant as he did suggest that Bryant had put him on a poster before as well, but randomly posting a picture of himself dunking on Kobe? For no good reason? Needle, needle, needle.

It also doesn’t help that Bryant has been in an extra salty mood as of late and doesn’t take kindly to people (especially people like Dwight) poking at him.

Should be interesting to see if Kobe responds and what his actions are. Given what we’ve seen him do in the past, you have to think he’ll do a little something – at least on social media.
