Former UFC Heavyweight contender, Pat Barry, recently dropped his MMA gloves in favor of kickboxing gloves. Citing his disdain for wrestling and his desire to punch people in the face, Barry decided to move back to kickboxing last month.
Yesterday, Barry took his first and only tune up fight in a WKA Kickboxing bout against an unnamed opponent. Barry ultimately won the bout in spectacular fashion by knocking out his opponent with a brutal right hook. It was a spectacular debut for Barry who looks ready to debut for Glory in the coming months. Check out the video of the knockout below:
Barry will return to the big stage on May 3rd as he makes his Glory debut against Zack Mwekassa at Glory 16. The fight will be broadcast live and free on Spike TV.
