Winners: Jacksonville Jaguars

With the third-overall pick the Jaguars selected quarterback Blake Bortles, to the dismay of many interested observers. Despite widespread criticism in the 24 hours following the first round, the Jaguars insist that they found their franchise guy.

On Friday they made great moves to accelerate the growth of their new QB, drafting wide receivers Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson. Lee stands out as the potential steal of the entire draft as a guy with elite first round-type talent.

There was depth at wide receiver in this draft. If Bortles ends up being a good pick, it will make the Jaguars look pretty savvy for knowing that they could draft a QB high and still find talent at receiver in the middle rounds.
