2014 NFL Draft: Day Two winners and losers

Rounds two and three of the 2014 NFL Draft are in the books. In these rounds we often get to the meat and potatoes of the draft. Teams fill needs with guys talented enough to start right away, even if the names are lesser known as far as the mock drafts and projections leading up to the main event.
The second and third rounds of the draft in 2014 were especially intriguing given the depth of this year’s class. Many players with first round talent were still on the board, only to have fallen into later rounds because of injuries, off-the-field issues, or simply the fact that they play a position crowded with good players.
On Friday teams had golden opportunities to get value and make significant upgrades to their roster. They also had plenty of chances to screw things up. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the winners and losers of day two of the NFL Draft.
