11. Philadelphia Union

Let it be known here on the Plex that John Hackworth won the sack race. Over the past week, Hackworth was sacked as manager of the Philadelphia Union and Jim Curtin was named interim manager. Curtin’s Union return to action on June 17 against the Harrisburg City Islanders in the U.S. Open Cup at PPL Park in Chester, Pa. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

12. FC Dallas

Despite goals from Fabian Castillo (27′) and Blas Perez (39′), Oscar Pareja’s FC Dallas were consigned to a 2-2 draw at Providence Park. Dallas were forced to play down to nine men after Moises Hernandez (87′) and Perez (90′ + 2′) were sent off. However, those two players in question should be available for their June 17 Open Cup match with the San Antonio Scorpions at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Tex. Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT/9 p.m. ET.

13. Sporting Kansas City

Peter Vermes’s Sporting Kansas City were off this week and will host Minnesota United on June 18 at Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan. in the U.S. Open Cup. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT/8:30 p.m. ET.

14. Los Angeles Galaxy

Bruce Arena’s Los Angeles Galaxy were off this week and will return to action against Arizona United at the Peoria Sports Complex in Peoria, Ariz. on June 18 in the U.S. Open Cup. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. PT/10:30 p.m. ET.

15. Montreal Impact

Jack McInerney (12′) and Andres Romero (21′) scored for Frank Klopas’s Montreal Impact, but they were doubled up by D.C. United 4-2 at Saputo Stadium. Montreal return to action on June 25 against the Vancouver Whitecaps at BC Place Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 10 p.m. ET and will be televised by TSN and RDS.
