CHICAGO BULLS

I’m going to let you in on a not-so-secret fact about basketball players. There’s not a whole lot of legitimate beef between players. While on the court, they’re competitors who do everything they can to win, but off the court they’re generally easy going guys who get along. Why is this relevant here? Because the battles that James has had with Derrick Rose, Joakim Noah and the rest of the Bulls have been mostly smoke and mirrors.

LeBron to the Bulls carries a lot of storylines with it, both historically and in today’s world. Where better to cement your legacy than the place where Michael Jordan built his? Fans in Chicago would welcome James with open arms and the defensive-minded coaching of Tom Thibodeau wouldn’t be much of a shock to James. LeBron would have the rim defender and reigning Defensive Player of the Year in Noah behind him and could combine with Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler to create a defense that would be legendary.

On the offensive side of things, this team was so much better when they had a playmaker in place to create for the team. Since Rose has been hurt, they’ve struggled to create offense and have had to lean on Noah to help create from the center position. James would have all of the opportunity in the world to create and this team would be another 3-point shooter away from leapfrogging everyone into the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
