The final piece of the Big Three in Miami has officially opted out of his contract as Chris Bosh’s agent, Henry Thomas, confirmed the news with the Sun Sentinel in Miami today.

Bosh now joins LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, who opted out of their contracts earlier this week, to test the free agent market prior to the Monday deadline.
This news comes as no surprise, however, as speculation that both Wade and Bosh would opt out of their contracts began to circulate once LeBron did so last week.

Although all three players have officially opted out, their is still a solid chance that the Big Three returns to Miami in pursuit of their fifth straight NBA Finals appearance next season.
According to reports, all three men have begun discussing new contracts with each other under the Heat banner. The Heat also helped their cause when they traded for UConn guard and two-time NCAA champion Shabazz Napier during the draft earlier this week.
LeBron stated prior to the draft that Napier was his “favorite player” and any team in the lottery would be crazy to pick another point guard before Napier was selected. With the Heat’s point guards being a glaring weakness during the Finals, Napier could immediately impact the team in his rookie season.
With all three players officially opted out, the Heat will have some work to do in order to resign the trio.
