#1) Andrew Luck (QB)

For the Redskins’s faithful that were hoping to see some sort of Luck/RGIII tie, I’m sorry. I think RGIII could be a franchise quarterback, but he isn’t that guy I’d start mine with if I had the choice. I want some stability – preferably in the form of Andrew Luck. Robert Griffin makes my honorable mention list (as of now at least).

Luck can really do it all. He is capable of every throw on the field, he can read defenses, when the play breaks down he is very quick on his feet, he can throw on the run, but is very calm in the pocket – you see where this is going. Is he better than Peyton Manning? No. However, if Luck remains a Colt in the long-run, Indianapolis will be happy with their decision; Luck is a can’t miss guy.

The former Stanford Cardinal – which says something in and of itself – has already passed for  8,000 career yards in his two NFL seasons, and I don’t see him slowing down any time soon. For one game, maybe Griffin is your man, for my franchise, I want someone I know is durable and can handle any offense; I want Luck.

And, to end on a very cliché note: As the great Paul Bear Bryant said, “I’d rather be lucky than good.”
