Fewer managers in the game of baseball have been more successful than former Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox. And for those amazing efforts throughout his career, Cox was rightfully enshrined in the Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday as a member of the 2014 induction class.

Cox was the engineer behind the most dominant baseball team in the 1990s in the Braves. In 1995, they captured their only World Series ring when they defeated the Cleveland Indians.
But aside from his amazing record as a manager, Cox was known most for his fiery temper on the bench.
Throughout his career, Cox was ejected from games nearly 160 times. Yes, Cox was ejected for what nearly equaled an entire season through his tenure in the major leagues. But that was what made him so successful, his passion for his teams.
Here’s a look at the plaque that was just handed to one of the most dominant managers in baseball history, Bobby Cox.
While it’s nice to see the next generation of younger managers stepping into the game of baseball, the league will always miss Cox and what he brought to the table as a manager.
