When LSU head football coach, Les Miles is not recruiting the nation’s top players to play for the Tigers, addressing the media in ways only “That Mad Hatter” knows how and sampling the finest grass tiger Stadium has to offer, he’s hanging out with some of the coolest actors around.

Miles was greeted by actor Michael B. Jordan who is famous for playing “softhearted young urbanite” Wallace in the critically-acclaimed HBO drama “The Wire” and then experienced a breakout role as the quarterback of the East Dillon Panthers as Vince Howard in “Friday Night Lights.”

The caption on Miles’ Instagram post read, “Even movie stars want to hang out with Coach Miles! Michael B. Jordan is in Baton Rouge filming ‘Fantastic Four’ and stopped by Football Ops to see the head coach.”

For those who remember Jordan best for his role as the talented, yet troubled Vince who helped Coach Taylor get a star player at his new coaching job will see a player with a similar skill-set this year for the Tigers as Brandon Harris and Anthony Jennings are both of the dual-threat model that Howard played in the final two seasons.

My favorite role though he has portrayed has to be as Wallace in the first season of “The Wire” when he was the drug dealer with a conscience and a soft heart who got caught up in the game and real drama ensued.

Jordan plays the Human Torch in the “Fantastic Four” reboot that will be released in theaters on March 6.

Maybe Miles will take his LSU football team out to the premiere of Fantastic Four next year and check out his new pal on the big screen.
