3) Darrelle Revis vs. A.J. Green. Cincinnati @ New England. October 5th.

The days of “Revis Island” seem to be in the NFL’s rear view mirror a bit, but he is still one of the most respected (and physical) corners in the league, unless he proves otherwise this season.  Patrick Peterson recently commented that the four best corners in the league were himself, Sherman, Revis and Joe Haden of Cleveland – in no particular order and “it was going to be a topic to be discussed throughout the rest of their careers.”

Revis, who also will have a matchup with Calvin Johnson later on in the year has the test of the Bengals’ incredibly dynamic wideout A.J. Green. The former Georgia Bulldog has already accumulated 29 touchdowns and over 3,800 yards in his three NFL seasons. He is only getting more dangerous as him and Andy Dalton continue to develop.

A.J. Green in his contract year, Revis – on his new team – with something to prove to the league; the headlines write themselves.

The ball just always seems to find his way into Green’s hands.
