No. 4: Houston Texans

There are only two things that are keeping me from having the Texans as my first choice to go from worst to first. Those two things are Andrew Luck and Ryan Fitzpatrick. Luck makes the Colts the clear favorite in that division and Fitzpatrick doesn’t exactly seem like a “solution” at the QB position for the Texans.

Last season Matt Schaub was a turnover machine and if Fitzpatrick can simply protect the football and let Andre Johnson and Arian Foster do most of the heavy lifting, Houston could have a nice rebound season. I really like the combination of J.J. Watt and Javedeon Clowney on defense and the addition of Romeo Crennel as the defensive coordinator should help as well. Unfortunately for Houston, it’s still a QB driven league and the Colts have a great one and the Texans do not.
