The Cleveland Cavaliers have an impressive starting lineup that is only set to become better once they acquire Kevin Love in a trade, however the back end of their bench could use a bit of work.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

In the past few days rumors have hinted that the Cleveland Cavaliers front office is attempting to fix that problem as they’ve shown interest in players like Shawn Marion, but forward isn’t their only concern. While the team has Kyrie Irving and LeBron James who’ll have no trouble handling their main point guard duties and ball handling, they don’t have a ‘true’ point on the bench.

However that may change in the coming weeks as the Cleveland Cavaliers are said to be showing interest in signing E’Twaun Moore (he means Love trade, not LeBron)

Currently behind Kyrie Irving on the depth chart is Matthew Dellavedova and it’s not known if he’ll be able to handle such duties, though as stated above he probably wouldn’t need to because James could be the distributor when Irving is off the court.

Still, it’s understandable as to why the Cavaliers front office would like some point guard insurance and that’s something the 25-year-old E’Twaun Moore can provide.

A former member of the Orlando Magic, Moore put up respectable averages of 6.3 points and 1.4 assists off the Magic bench in 2013-14, though likely would struggled to find much playing time with the Cavaliers if he can’t beat out Dellavedova for second string duties.

It’s not known as to what type of contract Moore would be seeking, though it’s likely he’d command no more than the league minimum.
