Reggie Wayne, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver

Like with Jones, the entire football community was saddened last season when Wayne shredded his ACL, knocking Andrew Luck’s reliable target out of commission.

There were concerns that the severe injury could threaten the career of the 35-year-old, who arguably was supplanted by T.Y. Hilton as the Colts’ top wideout. The whispers became louder when Indy bolstered the position during the offseason, signing veteran Hakeem Nicks and drafting talent-laden Donte Moncrief.

Being the consummate professional that he is, Wayne rehabbed himself to the point where coach Chuck Pagano dubbed it “incredible.” Though he probably won’t play a lot this preseason, Wayne can only be a boon to an already potent offense. He may not top his 106-catch, 1,355-yard campaign of 2012, but he will prove to be impactful.
