Little League World Series: Mo’Ne Davis taking the world by storm (Video)
By Jack Crosby
The Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania generally provides some of the best excitement in sports all year, despite the fact that these kids are barely in high school. This is usually because we see phenoms that dazzle us with what they could do at such a young age. This year, it’s 13-year-old Mo’Ne Davis from Pennsylvania that is already capturing everyone’s attention with her stuff on the mound.
Yes, HER.
Slowly but surely, Davis is capturing the entire world’s attention with not only her 70 MPH fast ball, but that nasty curveball that she can toss to the plate, as you can see in the video above.

Behind her efforts, Pennsylvania has landed a spot in Williamsport for this year’s festivities, with the chance to bring a world championship home on the line. They’ll open up the series this Friday when they take on Tennessee on ESPN.
Again, each year we’re provided with a few of these young stars that we just can’t get enough of, and there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that Davis is going to be the one that everyone will be watching every time that she goes out there with the ball in her hand.
