Best: Brandin Cooks, WR, New Orleans Saints

When Drew Brees is your quarterback, you’re going to look good, but in this case, it’s all talent with former Oregon State wideout Brandin Cooks.

Cooks dazzled in his preseason debut for the New Orleans Saints–a 26-24 win for NO against the St. Louis Rams–amassing 55 yards and a touchdown on five receptions, highlighted by a 25-yard TD catch.

That touchdown looked like a mere seven-yard pass at first, but Cooks turned on the jets and found the end zone in a flash. Bleacher Report’s Michael Schottey has already dubbed Cook his Offensive Rookie of the Year for 2014.

Cooks is the real deal, especially in a Sean Payton offense.
