 LaGarrette Blount, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

The former Oregon running back famously known for punching a Boise State player in the first game of his senior year has never been the same running back since rushing for over 1,000 yards in his rookie year with Tampa Bay.

After falling off a bit, and now with his third NFL team in five years (Pittsburgh), Blount is in a make or break kind of season.  Even as a backup to Le’Veon Bell, Blount can still prove that he could become one of the league’s best power backs, if he can keep his head straight and his hands to himself.

He’s shown in the recent past that he can play with the big boys of the NFL.  During the playoffs last season with New England, Blount rushed for four touchdowns against Indianapolis, finishing with 166 rushing yards on the day.  He also set the Patriots all-time record for all-purpose yards with 334 against Buffalo in the regular season finale.

The only thing Blount has to prove is that he can be consistent going forward.  There are games where he can have just 15 yards rushing, and games where he can rush for nearly 100 yards, breaking away from several defenders.
