8. Andrew Bogut:

2013-14 Stat Line: 67 games, 26.4 MPG, 7.3 PPG, 10.0 RPG, 1.8 BPG, 1.7 APG, .627/—/.344 shooting, 17.1 PER

Andrew Bogut’s diminishing game on offense and his propensity for nagging injury setbacks prevents him from climbing higher up the list, but his enforcer role in the paint shouldn’t be overlooked either. Last season, Bogut posted the second highest defensive rating (96.3) in the NBA and was top five in total rebounding percentage and block percentage.

Unlike some other centers who require tons of touches in the post, Bogut understands his role with the Golden State Warriors on offense. His scoring numbers limit him a little bit here, but he hasn’t minded sacrificing his individual numbers to get his teammates better looks, a cause he actively contributes to with his impressive passing skills.

On the defensive end, Bogut is a bruiser in the paint, one of the best rim protectors in the league and doesn’t mind bringing the attitude to back it all up. There are probably plenty of Dubs fans wondering “What if?” in regards to Bogut missing Golden State’s first round playoff matchup with the Los Angeles Clippers, which went to seven games without their defensive anchor. If Bogut can finally stay healthy for the playoffs, the Warriors won’t be a fun postseason opponent.
