Kevin Love tells Timberwolves owner to focus on own team
By Bryan Rose
On Tuesday afternoon the Cleveland Cavaliers introduced Kevin Love to the masses and while most were thrilled to see the All-Star forward in his new uniform, Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor was in the minority.

Taylor, who says he has a good relationship with Kevin Love, threw his former franchise player under the bus and not only questioned his defense but suggested that he has trouble staying healthy and the Cleveland Cavaliers may want to take notice.
It’s hard to tell if Taylor knows something nobody else does, though, on the surface his comments came out as nothing more than sour grapes.
That’s seemingly how Kevin Love took them as well, suggesting that Glen Taylor focus on his own team to ESPN on Wednesday morning.
“I think emotions are definitely running high right now,” Love told “Mike & Mike.” “For Glen to say that, I just think that he should be focusing on the players that he just received. I mean, he has two of the No. 1 picks in the last two drafts: Andrew Wiggins and Anthony Bennett. He has another guy who can really play in Thaddeus Young.”
Really hard to disagree and it’s nice to see Kevin Love not getting in a full blown cat fight when he has every right to do so.
Taylor will likely come out and apologize for his comments or suggest they were taken out of context, though his suggestion that Love tends to get uninterested on the defensive end isn’t exactly false.
It’s going to be a while before the Minnesota Timberwolves are a good team, but once they achieve some success it should be interesting to see if a rivalry begins to form with the Cavaliers.
