NFL: 2014 All-Pro Team Projection
Runing backs
LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles
McCoy led the NFL in rushing yards last season with 1,607 and looks to be the first rusher to repeat as the rushing champion since LaDainian Tomlinson did so in 2008.
The second year in Chip Kelly’s offense should treat McCoy just fine as he is the lynchpin to the NFL’s most dangerous offense east of the Mississippi River.
Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings
Peterson followed up his 2,000-yard season with 1,266 as he finished fifth in the league in rushing. Talk about a disappointing year, huh? Peterson is one year away from the dreaded age-30 season for NFL running backs, but like Manning shows no signs of diminishing skills.
Barring injury, Peterson is as close to a lock as you can get in the NFL for 1,200 yards and 10-12 touchdowns.
