No. 21-25

25. Geno Smith – New York Jets

Geno Smith has a ways to go to become a franchise QB that the Jets can build around, but I believe he has the skills to get there someday. That’s why Geno edged out some of the other young QBs for this bottom spot on the list.

24. Jake Locker – Tennessee Titans

I’m bullish on Jake Locker this season. Ken Whisenhunt helped get Phillip Rivers back amongst the league elite last season and Locker showed some real promise last season before getting hurt. With a couple of good young wideouts to work with I think Locker could surprise in 2014.

23. Josh McCown – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Josh McCown looked spectacular in his brief stint as the starter in Chicago last season. Part of the reason he succeeded last year was his two freakishly athletic targets at wide receiver. With a new pair of freakish wideouts to work with in Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans in Tampa Bay McCown has a chance to continue his success from last year.

22. Robert Griffin III – Washington Redskins

RG3 looked lost last season and was a shell of the QB that he was his rookie year. He possesses the talent to be in the top ten of these rankings but after a rocky preseason he could also be in jeopardy of falling out of them all together. RG3 has a lot to prove in 2014.

21. Eli Manning – New York Giants

Eli Manning is another talented QB that disappointed in 2014. He has two Super Bowl wins on his resume so it’s hard to rank him this low, but with an unimpressive preseason the younger Manning is going to have to prove he still has it on the field before he cracks the top twenty.
