Roger Goodell enjoys suspending players for everything from DUI arrests to uniform violations to dunking over goal posts. Now, at least one player believes it’s time to turn the tables on Goodell.

More from Detroit Lions

Detroit Lions WR Kevin Ogletree says (via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press) that Goodell should get “a couple game suspension” for his handling of the Ray Rice investigation.

Others, including national media star Keith Olbermann and feminist group NOW, have called for Goodell to be fired or resign. So Ogletree’s proposed punishment actually seems relatively lenient.

Ogletree is just the latest on an ever-growing list of players who have lined up to take shots at Goodell, a figure who inspires hatred for his hard-line disciplinary stances and arguably overly-harsh punishments.

James Harrison, a former Pittsburgh Steelers player who ran afoul of Goodell more than once, tweeted:

Jonathan Vilma, another player who suffered the wrath of Goodell, said:

The ever-opinionated Chris Kluwe, who was once punished for violating uniform rules by wearing a decal supporting Ray Guy, said:

Former Eagles RB Brian Westbrook offered up:

And on and on it goes. And it just gets uglier for Roger Goodell.
