A home run ball is a great souvenir. That is especially the case for a home run ball caught in the bleachers at Wrigley Field. Imagine the joy that a fan of the Chicago Cubs must feel, then, upon catching a home run ball.

That happened for a certain Cubs’ fan on Tuesday night. As any person might in his position, that fan expressed his excitement by high-fiving the people around him. That is where things took a most unfortunate turn.
In the midst of that celebration, this fan lost his wedding ring.
The cameras found his ring, which ended up on the warning track.

This guy has obviously put himself in a precarious situation, but if ever there was a way to reclaim a wedding ring, it’s by having the moment circulate the internet and possibly go viral.
