If a sporting event like this is good for nothing else, it is an opportunity for people to crack jokes on social media. When a game like this is ongoing, everybody on Twitter is a comedian.
These attempts at humor can be hit or miss, but let’s just say that former NFL wide receiver and current CFL receiver Chad Johnson had the tweet of the night.
If this were a video game, the person playing with the Buccaneers has long since passed the point when he/she would have hit the reset button or just quit completely. Furthermore, anybody who has experienced the “momentum” feature built into video games knows that it really does feel like God is playing as the other team sometimes.
Chad Johnson isn’t always right when he offers public opinions, but he nailed it here.
